5th Dec 06 - Wendy's last shows for 2006!
Wendy
will perform her final
shows for 2006 at
Lizotte's Restaurant on the
NSW Central Coast on Sunday
December 10th. Wendy will play
a lunch and dinner show at the venue. Check out the Tour Dates
page for info and show pricing. It looks like 2007 is
shaping up to be a very exciting year, with more shows and a new album
in the planning.
Wendy thanks one and all for their continued support in 2006 and she
extends all
good wishes to everyone
for the holiday season and the new year!
24th Oct 06 - A further show has been added for Victoria.
Wendy will perform at
"Wellers Restaurant" in
Melbourne on Thursday November 30th.

17th Oct 06 - The wait is over for Wendy's Melbourne fans!
It has just been
announced that Wendy will play two shows in Melbourne in December.
Wendy will perform live at
"The New Capers Restaurant" in
Hawthorn on
Friday December
1st
and Saturday December 2nd.

Wendy recently performed two sell-out shows at
The Vanguard
in Sydney on
October 6 &
7.
Supporting Wendy on both occasions was the lovely
Lisa Chappell from
"McLeod's
Daughters"
fame. Lisa has recently released her debut album "When Then Is
Now"
and was very excited to be opening the shows for Wendy. Wendy
was happy to pose for a photo with Lisa after the show on Saturday
night. (Thanks to Lorda!) Both shows were extremely well
received by audiences and it was great to see two very unique
female performers
on the same
stage.

To coincide with the 20th
Anniversary of the ARIA Awards,
a special 2 Disc compilation album has been released.
The album celebrates twenty years of award winning performers and
features two Wendy tunes on the album. Wendy's break-through hit single
with "Absent Friends",
"(I Don't Want To Be With) Nobody But
You, and of course Wendy's
award-winning signature song "The Day You
Went Away"
both feature on disc one.
The album is now available from all good music stores.

- Wendy has taken part in a special recording to raise funds
for the
KIDS Foundation.
(A registered charity dedicated to childhood injury prevention and
recovery). Wendy has lent her talents to a song which was recorded
over several months and features 17 of Australia's best voices!
The single, which has only just been released, is called
"Take These Hands"
and features Wendy plus many other Aussie artists including; Jimmy
Barnes, Iva Davies, Grace Knight, Diesel, Renee Geyer, Jon Stevens.

Wendy will perform three shows in Sydney this coming week. You can
catch Wendy performing

Cronulla on
Thursday 28th, Friday 29th and
Saturday 30th

Wendy and her faithful companion Bear,
feature in the
September/October
issue of
"Bark!" magazine.
The magazine, devoted to man and woman's
best friend, features several celebrities and their adored doggies.
Wendy, along with super swimmer Giaan Rooney, AFL star Michael Braun and
even singing sensation Pink all share their stories on just what their
pampered pooch means to them.

Wendy to sing for the Wallabies!
After a short break from performing on
"It Takes Two",
Wendy will be singing out of Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Saturday
night as she performs the National
Anthem and
''Waltzing Matilda'' at the
Bledisloe
Cup!
The Bledisloe Cup Match between the Wallabies and the All Blacks, will
be seen live on Channel 7 Saturday July
29th at
7:30pm.
